LEICESTER Lion Cubs racers Vinnie Foord and Max James have both qualified for the British Under-21 Final.
Foord finished a superb second in Tuesday’s qualifier at Plymouth, collecting 12 points, whilst James came through the meeting solidly with eight.
The Lion Cubs’ third representative Sonny Springer also picked up useful experience with four points and will have plenty more years in this event.
The Final takes place at Glasgow on June 2 and Lion Cubs captain Joe Thompson – along with brother Dan – is one of the seeded riders for that meeting.
Sam Hagon won the qualifier at the Coliseum with a 15-point maximum whilst his Belle Vue Colts team-mate Freddy Hodder joined Foord on the rostrum in third place.
